ICAT 3D Imaging
The iCAT, also known as the CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) imaging system, delivers high-resolution 3D images of the oral and maxillofacial areas, supporting accurate diagnosis and streamlined treatment planning. These detailed images allow dentists to examine teeth, roots, jawbones, sinuses, airways, nerve pathways, and other key structures. The iCAT is particularly valuable for implant and restorative procedures. With its minimally invasive nature, quick process, and low radiation exposure compared to traditional CT scans, it offers a more patient-friendly experience. Additionally, the iCAT aids in TMJ assessments by capturing detailed images of both arches and temporomandibular joints, helping to identify bone density issues, lesions, and potential jaw abnormalities.
